9-to-14-year old league

All 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14-year-old league teams will play in the Rocky Mountain Junior Baseball League (RMJBL). 


The league is made up of 20 high school areas throughout Jefferson County and the Denver metro area. The league is divided into 4 levels at each age/division: 

  • AAA - National
  • AAA - American 
  • AA - National 
  • AA - American 

AAA - National league teams contain players of the highest skill level while AA - American league is designed for the new or inexperienced player. 

By placing teams in 4 separate divisions, players will be competing against teams and other players of the same skill level. The league schedule consists of at least 10 regular season games with the opportunity of 16 games depending on weather. The top 4 teams in each division will play in the end of season tournament. Games are played during the week with 5-8 games at Arvada area fields and 5-8 games at away fields. 

Tryouts typically take place in July and the season typically begins the first week of April and runs to the end of June.
