General Information:

NJJBA has two options of play in our Fall Ball program:  the eight and under machine pitch (8U), the 9 through 14 year old (9-14).  There will not be any Tee Ball offered.  All games are played on Sundays, normally in the afternoon, as to not interfere with any other fall sports.

•       The 8U program is for any player that is under 8 years old and won’t be playing in the 9U level in the spring of the next season.

•       The 9U-14U program is for all players moving to the 9U and up to the 14U in the spring of the next season.

The goal for the Fall Ball program is to give the players more game time, to possibly learn new positions, to try something different, to enjoy stress free baseball, and to play the game for the pure fun of playing.  We do not keep score; there are no standings; and no end of the season awards or tournaments.  We consider the fall ball to be our “spring training.”

The players will register at the age they will be playing during the next year spring season.  That will be the age of the player on May 1, of next year.  For example, if the player played at the 10U level during the current spring season and will be 11 on or before May 1, of next season, then in the fall they will register for the 11U division.  This is very helpful for the age groups that will be increasing the base path and pitching distances.

Dates and Payments

This year the games are scheduled to begin on August 27th and continue until October 22nd.  No games will be played on Labor Day weekend.  Barring any serious weather, each team will play eight games.

Games will be held at the Arvada fields, Pioneer, Youth, Long Lake and Lutz - there may be games at neighboring locations as well.
